Lines

Lines are lines in a poem

EXAMPLE

Slicing Salami
by Denise Rodgers

The strangest strange stranger I've me in my life -> 1st Line
was the man who made use of his nose as a knife. -> 2nd Line
He's slice up salami, tomatoes and cheese -> 3rd Line
at the tip of his nose with phenomenal ease. -> 4th Line

He'd buy food in bulk at incredible prices
and then use his nose to reduce it to slices.
His wife ran away and I know that he'll miss her.
The woman was frightened that one day he'd kiss her!

- This poem have 8 lines.

Significant - Lines help readers knows where to read for example : mr Patrick said "San, read the 15th line". San will know where to read. instead of mr Patrick reading the whole sentence or come to San and point out.
